Chief is one of the newest members out on pasture. He came to the farm in the summer of 2024 to retire. He has a condition similar to asthma that gives him breathing difficulties in the Spring. He will be on medication as needed. Due to his condition, he is no longer able to ride.

Chief loves people. He is always the first one to greet you, and will check your pockets for treats. He likes to romp around and play with Henry the cow. When Chief first met the other horse Gracie, they touched noses and breathed in each others' smell. From that moment on, they've been bonded together, and never leave each others's side. Don't worry! Abu isn't left out of the trio. All three horses spend time together.
